I'm a little late (but it is still the 18th, promise!!), most of the participants already have their prompts up, and I'm going to go with the flow and post a picture I made to pretty much inspire myself... hope it does the same for you!

    I really like that image. It's very intriguing. I have all sorts of ideas now about why there are footsteps leading to the water but none leading away...

    Ooh, footprints in the sand walking straight into the ocean and down into the secret transport system that takes you to Atlantis. Yes, folks, it's real - just follow the footsteps. Thanks for a great prompt!

    Well, I'm a bit late responding to other participants, but I'm glad I stopped by. What a great photo prompt. The first thing that popped in my head was the quote about leaving marks on peoples lives or something to that effect.

    Then, I got to thinking. How would I use this to write something? I feel inspired to figure out who the footsteps belong to and why they trail off into the water. Suicide? Mermaid? Disappearance of a child? I'm ready to get to writing. Thanks!
